I've finally decided to part ways with my original Canon Rebel EOS 2000 FILM SLR Camera that got me started into photography. I've owned and used this camera since high school, and am the original owner of the camera - I got it at the camera store I worked at after school in my senior year.
This camera has been with me to many epic live hip hop events - The Roots, The Fugees, De La Soul, Common, etc etc.
This film SLR was what I used to shoot the early days of AE86s, KP61 Starlets and TE27s racing autocross with the SF Region SCCA OSP class.
I brought this film SLR with me on my first out of town trips to document the car scene in New Jersey, Toronto, and JAPAN. I have a HUGE photo album of photos I shot with this camera on my first visit to Tokyo and Tokyo Auto Salon - AE86s, Keiichi Tsuchiya, Nobuteru Taniguchi, RE Amemiya, Yamashita Koichi from Running Free, Crystal Body Yokohama, you name it.
I'm only selling it because it has been sitting on my shelf unused, collecting dust for YEARS.
I've been shooting professionally for years now, and because of this old Rebel EOS film camera, I've become incredibly loyal to the Canon brand for over 15 years.
I've owned pretty much every generation of Canon DSLR from the 10D, 20D, 40D, 70D, 5D Mk2, 5D Mk3, 5D Mk4, 1D Mk2, 1D Mk3, 1D Mk4, and I now shoot with a Canon 1DX Mark II - Canon's top of the line, flagship DSLR. The greatest thing is this old film SLR still works with the Canon EF lenses that I use with my current camera!
