When it isn’t race season, I typically like to expand my range and skill set by shooting non-automotive projects.
The types of projects I get involved in span a wide range - from fashion, portraits, products, fitness, travel, food, corporate… really, they could be any type of video and still shoots.
A few months back, I spent some time with attorney Jill Hiraizumi-Artino, founder of Hiraizumi Law Group, an Orange County based law firm that specializes in Estate Planning, Trusts, and Wills.
Here are a few videos from a series of videos we produced, shot, and edited for HLG.
In the video above, Jill talks about if it's even necessary to use an attorney to draft an estate plan. The quick answer is... no.
However, if you want it done correctly, you might want to work with an attorney that specializes in these types of situations day in and day out.
In this video, Jill drops a tip about drafting Trusts.
She talks about the legal hassles surrounding the late basketball star Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa’s Trust Documents. Jill explains how Vanessa Bryant had to go to court in order to try and amend the Bryant family trust to add Kobe & Vanessa’s youngest daughter to the trust documents.
Jill explains further that if their drafting attorney simply used different language in their estate plan, then Vanessa would never have even been in that situation. Apparently, using a few simple words regarding the Class of Beneficiaries in their documents could have avoided this costly and troublesome situation altogether.
It just goes to show that not all lawyers are created equal. When you’re dealing with sensitive matters that are important to you, like the financial well being of your family, it’s important that you work with a person with specific expertise like Jill and the HLG Law team.
In the video above, Jill talks about her background and how she became so passionate about helping people by making sure they wills, trusts, and estate plans are correctly handled.
According to Jill, it all boils down to the things that matter most to her - family, legacy, values, and relationships.
